Dusting the old blog off...

Now I begin life as a freelancer in earnest, right?

Well, this time it's true.  My husband and I are fortunate enough to be moving to a local economy which does not require us to both be working.  This means....I can focus on creative pursuits, 100% of the time!!  What freedom, what bliss, what scariness!?!?

Yes, taking this leap is a little scary.  Finding ways to fill the time and make connections in our new home is going to be the name of the game.  I'm not one to shy away from new people or experiences, but this will be the first time that my artistic skills will be put to the test.  I want to avoid falling back on safety work in management if I can, so that puts the fire back in my belly to create.
