LA...Director's Lab West 2011
Arrived in LA earlier this evening for the Director's Lab West - an offshoot of the NYC Lab started at Lincoln Center. This is a little "left coast centric" - appropriate given my move to Portland, OR coming this summer.

A new page...
In updating my regular website, I figured I should also update the blog. It's now in line with the new (old) path of my life. The reason I say old is because I spent 11 years as a freelance stage manager and director. Now, I am making my living through freelance directing.
Just like any other field, theatre has suffered during the economic downturn, with fewer companies hiring guest directors or directors from other towns. Fortunately, I was able to meet many company representatives at the Unified Professional Theatre Auditions and make some more connections in the wider community. I am hopeful about projects that are coming on the horizon, and I'll be sure to keep updating as I travel and pursue my passion!
